Calling ALL First Time Homebuyers!
Are you a family of 2 or less, earning less than $80,400 OR are you a family of 3 or more earning less than $93,800? Then VHDA may be for you!
No Down Payment? No Problem. If you are a First Time Homebuyer, you can get down payment assitance. A First Time Homebuyer is defined as someone who has not ever owned a home, someone who has not owned a home in the last three (3) years OR in certain circumstances has not lived in a home they own for the last three (3) years. If you are a First Time Homebuyer and are looking for down payment assistance, consider taking my VHDA First Time Homebuyer’s Class. This class will make you eligible to receive 3.5-5% in down payment assistance from the Virginia Housing Development Authority (VHDA). There are certain eligibility requirements, but if you are a family of 3 or more, earning less than $93,800 annually, you could qualify for this program.
The following VHDA First Time HomebuyerClasses are held at the Janaf Branch Library in Norfolk, VA from 10:00am to 4:30pm (with a one hour break for lunch). Depending on your credit score, you could be eligible to qualify for at least 3.5% in down payment assistance and as much as 5%, from VHDA after completing this class.
